How do you become friends with someone?

Im quite and like to step out of my shell!!

Approach a person that you think you'd like to be friends with, say hi, ask for his/her name, and strike up a conversation. What you say depends on the situation of course. Chat for a little while, get to know the person a little more, and maybe ask for their email or facebook or twitter.


The important thing when conversing with someone is to LISTEN to what he is saying, try to maintain as much eye contact as possible(but not so much till that you seem like you're staring or glaring) which tells the other that you're paying attention and you're interested in what he is saying.


Try not voice your opinions on whatever you're talking about and try not to give one or two word answers. You can also share interesting stories that you've heard, or has happened to you before.
Whenever you meet someone new, ALWAYS remember their names and call them by it the next time you see them. Never appear too eager to please and agree. Speak your mind about anything to be identified as an individual. When you see someone, act as if you're very pleased to see them again and be the one to start the conversation. And lastly, LISTEN to them when they speak.
first thing to do is, say hi.





start a conversation about anything, see if they are doing something u can relate to (reading the same book you are) if they seam nice, maybe ask for facebook or something (if you have that) then organise an outing and you can meet their friends and their friends' friends...





or If your school holds dances (or if others do), go to one and ask someone to dance if appropriate, a lot of dances i go to are just to meet friends (some times to hook up, but I'm not a slut who hooks up with strangers) if the accept (they probs will) dance, then when you're finished, ask for contact details.








It's a lot easier then you think.

1. Look at her/him is she/he look good or fun to be around if yes.. just walk around, and stand or sit near the person, wait wait,wait and ask ';What's your name'; and he/she will answer and just talk! Be friendly,charming as it can be OK?
You just hang out with that person regularly. Soon you're bound to get closer because you've been together all the time and you talk about lots of things. That's how I became friends with my friends now.
Just strike up a conversation about the weather or football or whatever topic you know something about and take it from there.
just walk up to someone that looks cool and say wats up bra thats it but if they used closed sentences then dont push it find someone else
