So, how can I further my friendship with him? It's starting to get really annoying to just sit there and watch him and my best friend talk for an hour while I get to say nothing. Oh, and it would be better if my best friend wasn't around when I'm attempting to make friends with him. He definetly would not help me make friends with this kid, so I'm pretty much by myself. Please, someone, what do I do? Thanks guys!

the best way to do this is to arrange a day out lol
hang round town, hav sleepover or something
and invite him and ur best frriend
and maybe some others
play football game with him or... something like that?
i dunno im a girl in high school so i wouldn't know
but that is what i would do

talk to ur best friend about him............so, u can realise what is in betn them.
just find something common between you two, like a sport or activity and start talking about it and doing it together.
Buy him a promise ring to signify your love and dedication to him. He'll get the message.
Friends usually have a lot of things in common. Try to find out what his interests, hobbies etc are, and just use that information:)
But you don't want your other friend to be around when you hang out with this guys? Why?
