How do you become BEST friends with someone?

i have this friend at school (we're in 10th grade) and basically i consider her to be my best friend. we're always together at school like walking around talking and stuff even when we're not with other friends of ours. i talk to her about basically everything and she does the same thing. the problem is, i don't know if she considers me to be her best friend. i am the friend she talks to the most, except for this girl who lives in her neighborhood. the girl is two years younger than us but she has a very outgoing personality and since i'm more quiet she's probably more fun to be with. the thing is my friend is constantly hanging out with her and when i hang out with her it's always to do something specific, like seeing a movie or getting out nails done. but i want to spend the night at her house and have her sleepover and just hang out more casually like best friends do, you know? that's what she does with that other girl, although the other girl has her own best friend so it's not like i'm competing with her.


i feel weird about like just inviting her to spend the night cause i'm afraid she'll be bored since i don't live in a neighborhood and there isn't much to do at my house. i was thinking maybe i could invite her and another friend of ours to spend the night so it will be more fun, and then over time just her. good idea or not?








okay, i realize this is stupid to think about and that i seem like kind of a loser lol. most people don't care about stuff like this but i do. it's just that i'm a shy person and i don't have a ton of friends at all. and i feel kind of lonely on the weekends because even when i go do stuff with friends it feels like such a short time and then i'm home again. i want someone who i'm like constantly with almost like a sister, just like a best friend would be. please be nice :)

just ask her to sleep over. its really that simple. just invite her to hang out and do whatever. She already likes spending time with you. Just spend more time together and youll get to be better friends. You don't seem like a loser at all, don't put yourself down :) If you open up and trust the other with secrets, then chances are they're more likely to take you seriously? Or you could try organising stuff with all three of you, so you get to know both of them more, then you could all sort of casually hang out together. Trust is a big thing in best friends, and once you have that well established your'e on your way and all you have to do is give it time. good luck :)
The only way to know if she feel that way is dropping a hint. You've been a fantastic friend! Or when her birthday comes round, you can sign your best friend. Or you can ask her, will you be my best friend and sees what she says. I hope she consider you the same becos you sound like a nice sensitive person. Invite her and some friends round, it's always more fun having a bunch of friends. Try not to think you are boring becos otherwise you wouldn't have friends, would you. Remember, everyone is different.
k your not a loser for a first.... yes it would be a good idea to invite her over first then other friends. if you dont have myspace or facebook get 1.... talk to her more on those sites if she has 1. i have a friend on facebook and i've only known him for 4 days and were best friends.... were both 13 and he got a girl pregnant and she was 15... now he asked me to be god father if possible. and i said yes i would gladly be godfather.... wht i think is u people should share more personal things in life like who u like.... all ths is in my opinion... hope it helps(:
Giiiirrrllll ! Lol. Don't worry about it, even if she doesn't consider you her best friend you are still the one she goes to talk to. So once the fun has worn off the other girl You'll still be there. %26amp; when she has a problem she'll talk to you. So ur more important than the simple label of a best friend. %26amp; as far as slepovers and stuff go, they can be fun with nothing, me %26amp; my best friend are I think everything ur saying u want. We don't go more than 2 days without seeing each other %26amp; when we don't see each other we call or txt. But it all fell into place, just blare some music dance like crazy people,have a picture night, do make overs like different ppl or styles, we've done the scene look, emo, goth, prep, we go for walks, cut each others hair, look up new bands, prank calls, bake, have movie nights, (themed of course) but it all happens in time.
