How can i become friends with someone who hates me?

weell idk if he hates me but sometimes he makes fun of me. but its like once in a while hes nice to me. i really like him though. its like he is just like the kinda guy who will say something like ur face. but he doesnt say that thats just like an example but anyways and then sometimes he will do something nice. i dated like 2 of his friends. he just is always kinda picking on me in a way but i like him and wanna become friends! what are somethings to impress him and show him that im cooler than hell ever be? but he will accept me as a friend???How can i become friends with someone who hates me?
ok i've been n a similar situation, so here's what I did:


when he makes fun of you, laugh even if it's hurtful and then make fun of him, don't say something too insulting though. u gotta level with his statement and don't over do it.


when he's nice to you don't take Advantagee of it and show him you enjoy it. just act casual and even start with poking fun of him or a habit of his... nickname him crackhead, giggles, pms whatever something funny.


try to be very confident in his presence and talk about things that interest him sports, fashion whatever it is....


i guess don't try too hard and be yourself, i know that sounds like a generic advice but it's true, because people can read thru a person that is trying too hard or being fake.. if you're too drifferent then it's not meant to be and not going to happen. just consider this as a possibility. try to be friends with the closest people to him. his friends are the easiest way to get to him except if you are on bad terms with the guys u dated than i would advise you to stay away.
