about what schools or jobs you had and stuff, but you dont want to talk about it, how do you say that without appearing shy or mean but still friendly and open? lol :(
ive opened up to so many people that became best friends only to lose them or they turned into enemies a year or two later and did more bad than good in my life. painful memories, plus it reminds me of therapy. When you're becoming friends with someone and they're asking you questions...?
You can give out the info. Its not like its your D.O.B or SS info. You can be friends and also maintain a personal barrier if youd like to call it that. Friends come and go, but the good ones are there to stay. For every dozen of baddies you get, one good one comes along to change all the rules. When you're becoming friends with someone and they're asking you questions...?
i think that talking about that kind of stuff wouldnt affect your relationship. you dont wanna keep things bottled up. if your becoming friends with someone wouldnt you wanna know that stuff about them? i think it depends on the type of person your talking to
i understand what you mean. just be honest about it...
tell em you'd like to be good friends but there are stuff you'd like to keep to yourself..
its harder than it sounds but honesty is always important
Just make something up and move on to something else. Like I'ld rather not talk about that, or something. Just dont shut down and get sad when its brought up. stay happy.
tell them youd rather not talk about it.
Just give short and sweet answers! Until you get to know them better. No harm :-)
