Compliment them. Find things about them you admire and tell them casually so they will be flattered. Ask them what they like in music and PRETEND to like it. Also, find the few things you DO share in common and do something with that. Watch a comedy show and notice when or if he/she laughs. You will learn about their sense of humor. i have no idea. thats kind of hard because you guys would have nothing to really talk about other than school. for me, its impossible for me to be friends with someone who has nothing in common with me. i only connect with people best when i feel like i have a lot more in common with. i tend to talk less to people who have nothing in common with me.
First ask yourself why you want to be friends with this person? Second, just talk to them.. Hopefully you should have something in common even if it is just your favorite restaurant or favorite color.. It always helps to have something in common... Communicating is the best way to let someone know you want to know them better... Good luck and God bless..
Of course that person is not anything like you because they are their own person. You can't make someone change their ways to your ways all because you want them to be like you. It is not about you, it is about the friendship.
If you want to become friends with that person then don't look on the surface, but look inside of who they really are. Anotherwards, don't judge a book by its cover. Accept them for who they are. I don't think it would work well if you two were exactly alike, you might enjoy what the other person does that you have never done before like a different sport or whatever it is. Plus, who knows, this person may like the way you are.
