How do you become friends with someone in a couple of days?

I know it takes time to get to know another person (or to even be friends with them), but I really need to make some in my situation.





We're going on a camping this friday and i'm not friends with any of my assigned camp groupmates. All of them have friends in the group and I guess it's just me who doesn't. I was thinking of making friends with either one of them so I won't feel left out. How can I make this happen? How do you become friends with someone?





Please, I really need help. I don't want to feel bad and out of place when the day comes. :(How do you become friends with someone in a couple of days?

As an old saying goes, ';To have friends, one must be a friend';. Basically just be yourself, be friendly and be open to any opportunity to show how good of a friend you can be. On this trip, offer to do things for people who look like they might need help doing something. If you have any skills in doing something that someone else can't do, offer to teach them how to do it. It involves taking some risks, but I'm sure that you will find the rewards make it worth it. I made a friend over 32 years ago and we have been there for each other when one of us needed the other all through the years. This is a real opportunity for you to do the same thing.





Don't worry if at first you don't succeed. Real true friendships take time to develop and don't happen over night. Take your time to scout out the people and don't become attached to anyone until you are sure that you have made a true friend. All during our lives we meet people. Most stay as acquaintances. Several will become friends with whom we can share our lives. Be patient because it is going to take time for these to develop.
