Talk to them outside of class..you can always use the class as an ice breaker. ';i missed some of the notes, can i borrow yours'; and start it that way.

You can talk to then after class, before class, or during lunch because you should have enough time to talk during those periods. Maybe later on in the year the teacher will put you next to this person, or if your really talkative that might be why the teacher is keeping you away from these people.
