How do you become friends with someone that is shy?

Theres this guy i know, and i rellleee want to become friends with him, but how do i do it without the situation being awkward?How do you become friends with someone that is shy?
when someones shy, it takes them time, so you really have to be patient and persistent in your efforts.. also you cant take their lack of talking or w/e they do that makes them shy to personally.


doesnt the fact that their shy kind of boost your own confidence? cant you therefore more easily overcome the ';awkwardness';? I would think so, good luck, shy people can be really loyal friends when they realize you care enough to tear down their walls.How do you become friends with someone that is shy?

You need to show yourself to this person and show up in his life. Life is a big circle, and it is involved with family, friends, work, school and other such activities. Now for this man to like you, you need to jump into his circle and join the group of Family, Friends, Work, School etc...





You need to show your personality to him and start getting to know him.





You can turn him from Shy to talkative by asking him questions about himself and what he enjoys doing the most. Get him to feel comfortable around you by asking him Open Ended Questions that can be answers to anything but will get him to give you a response that is always positive.





He will start being more comfortable around you when you do this and he will be less shy when he feels you are the friend that he has been waiting for.
get one of your best friends who is a friend of theirs to introduce you guys to each other and then just go with that and if thats awkward then just walk up to him and say ';hey'; or something or if ur at school then drop something like right in front of him and make sure he picks it up and then just start the conversation from there.

don't get all in his face or to close to him ask him questions not one right after the other but ask one wait a few seconds maybe a minute then ask another. Keep the conversation going.


Don't be really loud around him. If your loud he will probably think of you as annoying
just be needy and ordinary, often people are too much for a person that sees them as like ';other people';, they don't provide grounds for confrontation or hanging out with. Maybe they are busy with something you are also interested in.
The best way is to just be open and friendly, eventually the person should warm up and begin to feel comfortable around you if you show that you're a person they can trust.

i really don't know, maybe you should act shy too, so the both of you would have something in common? idk?
its most definitely gonna be shy no matter what, its easier to not talk in person for shy people, so try a note or a simple hi
